Dr. Lauren Wight graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor of Science Degree, Honours Specialization in Biology. She then attended the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC), graduating in 2016. At CMCC she completed three years of advanced studies, followed by a one-year of clinical internship.
Dr. Wight was a competitive and professional figure skater. It was while receiving treatment for a skating injury that she first considered pursuing a career in chiropractic. Through this experience, she developed an interest in treating athletes, focusing on injury prevention and well-rounded training. She grew up in the area and now lives here with her husband and young daughter.
Dr. Wight treats patients of all ages, activity levels, and with a wide variety of complaints. She strives to empower her patients to have an active role in their treatment. Dr. Wight believes in evidence based treatment; combining her own experience with current research, and the patient's treatment preference. Her goal is to treat the cause of the patient's symptoms and develop long term solutions, rather than treat symptoms alone.
Dr. Wight uses a combination of joint manipulation, soft tissue therapy, interferential current, cold laser, and personalized rehab programs to return patients to optimal health.
